Superconductor material

Last updated Jun 24, 2022

A superconductor is a material that conducts electricity with zero resistance — that is, with no loss in energy. In most examples in use, the material must be cooled to extremely low temperatures (colder than outer space). Once in the superconducting phase, the material exhibits quantum effects in the collective behavior of many individual particles.
